Sjögren’s Disease

Individuals with primary Sjögren’s disease who experience symptoms such as dry eyes, dry mouth, fatigue, or joint pain may qualify for a research study evaluating an investigational treatment.

Age Range: 18 to 75
Gender: Male and Female
Location: New Port Richey

About the Study

Primary Sjögren’s disease is a chronic autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the body’s moisture-producing glands, leading to dryness and other systemic symptoms. Many individuals also experience fatigue, joint pain, and inflammation that can interfere with daily life. While current treatments may help manage symptoms, they may not work for everyone and do not always address the underlying disease activity.

Researchers are studying new approaches that may help reduce immune system activity and improve symptoms associated with Sjögren’s disease.

This research study is evaluating telitacicept, an investigational medication given as a weekly injection, designed to target pathways involved in abnormal immune responses and potentially improve disease activity over time.
