Heart Disease

Suncoast Clinical Research is enrolling volunteers for a research study testing a new medication used along with standard heart medicine. The goal is to see if this combination may help lower the risk of heart failure in people who have heart disease or are at higher risk for heart problems.

This study in enrolling at both New Port Richey & Palm Harbor Locations.

Age Range: 18
Gender: Male and Female
Location: New Port Richey

About the Study

This study is evaluating how an investigational medication may help reduce the risk of major heart-related events in adults with heart disease or those at high risk for their first heart event.

If you qualify and choose to participate, you’ll receive study-related care from experienced healthcare professionals at no cost and help advance important heart research.

Qualifications

You may be able to participate if you:

    • Are over 18 years old
    • Have heart disease (Such as a past heart attack, stroke, or blocked arteries), or
    • Have been told you are at high risk for heart problems (This may include high cholesterol, diabetes, or circulation issues)
    • Are currently taking standard heart or cholesterol medication
    • Do not have severe uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart failure
