Researchers are studying an investigational medication to see how effective it may be in reducing risk of heart failure for those with a history of Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension and established cardiovascular disease. With your help we can make huge strides in future care—while receiving no-cost study-related care and close medical monitoring. 

Age Range: 18 to 75
Gender: Male and Female
Location: New Port Richey

About the Study

This study is looking to compare how well the investigational injection acts with existing medication as compared to the medication by itself, in reducing risk of cardiovascular disease and preventing heart failure in at risk patients. 

What to Expect 

  • Study may last up to 30-51 months, including screening time. 
  • 9 In-person visits at our clinic for medication and checkups. 
  • 5 Telephone calls from our clinic for checkups. 
  • follow-up period after your last dose to monitor health and symptoms 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Are over 18 years of age. 
  • Have Hypertension currently being treated with medication. 
  • Currently on medication for Cardiovascular Disease (Coronary Artery Disease, or Cerebrovascular Disease, or Peripheral Artery Disease)
