Suburban Research Associates is currently seeking participants 18 to 80 years of age who are experiencing chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) for a clinical research study. Chronic Idiopathic Constipation is a condition characterized by persistent difficulty with bowel movements, including infrequent stools, hard or lumpy stools, straining, and a sensation of incomplete evacuation. Individuals with CIC may also experience abdominal discomfort and bloating. These symptoms can significantly impact daily life and overall quality of life, making effective treatment options important.
Researchers are studying an investigational medication to see how effective it may be in reducing risk of heart failure for those with a history of Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension and established cardiovascular disease. Suncoast Clinical Research (SCR) is looking for individuals aged 18 and older who deal with chronic constipation. The study consists of 10 visits to our clinic and lasts up to 32 weeks. Compensation may be available for time and travel.
