Type 1 Diabetes

Suncoast Clinical Research (SCR) is seeking individuals aged 18 and up who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus for at least a year. The total length of time for the study will be up to 37 weeks (Approx. 9 months and a week), with 32 in-person visits throughout that time. There will be compensation for time and travel if you qualify.

This study is enrolling at both New Port Richey and Palm Harbor locations.

About the Study

The goal of this study is to investigate how the weekly investigational medicine affects insulin levels and safety compared with daily insulin injections for participants with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus.

What to Expect

  • Study may last up to 37 weeks, including up to 2 weeks of screening.
  • 32 in-person visits at our clinic for checkups.
  • A follow-up period after your last dose to monitor health and symptoms
  • Compensation may be available for your time and travel

Qualifications

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Have been diagnosed with active Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus ≥ 1 year before screening.
  • Must have tried multiple daily insulin injections ≥ 6 months before screening.
