About the Study

Obesity is a common comorbidity in people with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and is linked to several negative outcomes. Research also shows that those with both conditions are more likely to develop other related diseases. Some studies show that up to 45% of people with Psoriatic Arthritis are obese

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the investigational medication on its own vs. the study medication being administered in conjunction with tirzepatide to help in achieving weight loss along with improving arthritis. The study is about 61 weeks (about 1 year 2 months) long and includes 9 visits to the office along with 4 telephone calls. In this study there is a 50% chance of receiving the investigational medication on its own and a 50% chance of receiving it with tirzepatide. There is no chance of placebo.

Health insurance is not required nor needed. Most visits will be compensated for $120, and a handful are $60. There is also compensation for the eDiary.
